3DL Carbon/Kevlar Super Light Jib SJ-1 New!

The new Super light jib was designed for the very light winds and chop that we see at many regatta venues. The sail was based on the very successful LJ-1 model but has been made deeper and lighter for specific light wind sailing. Extra thin films mean the sail is less rigid in light winds and so easier to steer to by being more reactive to changes in wind speed. This sail is a must have for light wind sailing. This sail is geared toward the 0-10 knot wind range. The foot round has been maximized for Aero-dynamic efficiency.

Jib standard features:

  • Colour coded draft stripes
  • Vision windows
  • RBS E glass battens
  • Cuban fibre patches
  • Leech tell tales
  • Trim tell tales
  • Leech line
  • Roll bag
  • Class royalty label is subject to an additional charge

3DL Carbon/Kevlar Light/Medium Jib LJ-1

World Champion 2014

The new Light Medium jib was designed for the light air and chop that we see at many regatta venues. A deeper head allows the sail to be trimmed with more twist to keep the boat moving fast. This sail is geared toward the 0-14 knot wind range. The foot round has been maximized for Aero-dynamic efficiency.

Jib standard features:

  • Colour coded draft stripes
  • Vision windows
  • RBS E glass battens
  • Cuban fibre patches
  • Leech tell tales
  • Trim tell tales
  • Leech line
  • Roll bag
  • Class royalty label is subject to an additional charge

3DL Carbon/Kevlar Medium/Heavy Jib HJ-1

World Champion 2014

The new Medium Heavy jib was designed for stronger wind conditions. This sail is slightly flatter to allow the trimmer to trim harder without affecting the mainsail shape. This sail is geared toward the 12-25 knot wind range. The foot round has been maximized for Aero-dynamic efficiency.

Jib standard features:

  • Colour coded draft stripes
  • Vision windows
  • RBS E glass battens
  • Cuban fibre patches
  • Leech tell tales
  • Trim tell tales
  • Leech line
  • Roll bag

Monster Runner Spinnaker World Champion 2014

Recommended AP Runner!

This is the fastest runner on the market, designed to project a large area and has a very fast stable flying shape. This sail is 54 sq.m and constructed with Superlite 50, a light, stable fabric that sheds water nicely and has a very high tear resistance. The useable wind range for this sail is 6-23 knots, and is the best all purpose runner for a two sail inventory. If you sail in predominantly windy venues you should consider this sail out of Superkote 70, a slightly heavier, stronger fabric.

Spinnaker standard features:

  • Sail numbers
  • Sail bag
  • Class royalty label is subject to an additional charge
  • Stock colours

Designed for 0-6 knots

The VMG Light Runner is designed for the really light drifty stuff where you can barely fly a spinnaker. This sail is 44 sq.m and is made with Contender Superlite 40.

This sail is a must have for the Swiss Lakes, or to really fill out the inventory for a serious campaign. If it is very light and lumpy you must have this sail.

  • Sail numbers
  • Sail bag
  • Class royalty label is subject to an additional charge
  • Stock colours
